Since March, due to the lockdown, the construction work was affected due to the restriction on the movement of labourers. Due to COVID-19, the work was at a slow pace, but now the work has been resumed, and the target is to complete the work of at least 32 MCCS by the end of 2020. Out of the total 43 proposed MCCs, work on 11 sites has not started due to land-related disputes and public protest. However, the issue will be resolved soon, and construction works on these MCCs will begin shortly.
