BMC To Resume Weekly Public Grievance Hearings From July 1

Beginning on July 1, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will once again hear complaints from the general public on Mondays. The public will be given immediate attention by the relevant authorities and personnel. Direct grievances are heard every Monday in accordance with government regulations, however exceptional grievances in BMC are heard under a separate method. In order to address public concerns, the BMC Commissioner and other officials typically listen to the public directly and take the appropriate action.

The electoral code of conduct caused the grievances hearing to be halted. It will restart on July 1st, as per the directives from the General Administration and Public Grievances Department, Commissioner Rajesh Prabhakar Patil has advised.

Every Monday (Working Day) from 10.30 AM to 1 PM, the public grievance chamber in the BMC office building will host the hearing. During this time, the public can air their complaints.
