An alleged bomb threat has been went through the Bhubaneswar- Mumbai Konark Express triggering fear and panic among all the individuals travelling in the train. The railway security personnel were highly active and started searching the train as soon as they got the report of an alleged bomb scare.
Following the reports, the train was halted near Secunderabad railway station. All passengers were made to deboard the train and the bomb disposal squad pressed into service to check all suspicious boxes and baggage.
As per sources, the train left for Mumbai from Bhubaneswar railway station yesterday. While the search of the train was underway, all the passengers are reportedly safe. The railway has not made any official announcement in this regard so far.
