With the powerful Shiv Sena political party crumbling to pieces due to internal political conflict, there has been lot of talks of who would be the next CM of Maharashtra. It was an official end of Shiv Sena when Uddav Thackery resigned from his post of CM. After lots of discussion of who would be the ideal candidate, BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis have announced Eknath Shinde of Shiv Sena’s rebel party to be the next CM of Maharashtra.
“Eknath Shinde will be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The BJP will support him. We will expand soon. Oath ceremony today at 7.30 pm,” said BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis. Addressing a press conference, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis said, “We had an alliance with Shiv Sena during the last election. The MVA had delayed several development projects. Two MVA ministers are involved in money laundering case. Everyday Veer Savarkar was insulted. No development work was done under the MVA government. Everyday we were insulted.”
