Shri Naveen Patnaik performed the inauguration of the New Food Park . Production facilities for businesses like Pepsi, Nestle, Indo Nissin, and its affiliates will be located here. Additionally, he oversaw the groundbreaking of Kalibeti’s new Industrial Park, which will contain businesses that manufacture clothing, including Indian Stitches, MAS Holdings, and EPIC. Ten of these industries have commenced building their plants already.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “The establishment of these companies is a testament to the hard work put in by the Government. The advent of these companies will employ thousands of youths of the State”. He also thanked the people of Khurda for having always supported the growth of industries in the region.
Additionally, the government intends to build spacious hostels for women employed in the area. Three of these dormitories will be built, the first two at Deras, Kalibeti, and Bhuinpur. The event, which marked a group commitment to promoting economic growth and creating job opportunities in Odisha, was attended by the Hon. Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik, Shri V K Pandian, Chairman 5T Initiatives, Senior Industry Leaders, and Senior Government Officials.
