Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated three historic projects by JSW Utkal Steel Limited, ReNew E-Fuels Private Limited, and Silox India Private Limited in front of a sizable public assembly at Paradeep. Building on a much-anticipated state-of-the-art steel factory, JSW Utkal Steel pledged to create a significant number of jobs and stimulate the local economy through auxiliary industries. ReNew intends to build a green fuels project that would further establish Odisha as a pioneer in new-age energy and coincide with the state’s aim of fostering sustainable and green energy sources.
Silox India plans to establish a chemical manufacturing facility with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation, adding to the industrial diversity of the region. Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of the JSW Group, spoke at the event and stated, “We laid the foundation stone for the JSW EV Project at Cuttack last week, embarking on a new and exciting journey.” And we’re in Paradeep today for the groundbreaking ceremony of a cutting-edge steel mill. JSW has always been and will continue to be dedicated to the development and growth of Odisha. I appreciate the Hon. Chief Minister and the Odisha government’s ongoing assistance to the JSW Group. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik showed his support for the initiatives and emphasized how the government is determined to make the most of these collaborations.
The Chief Minister thanked Sajjan Jindal, Chairman, JSW Group, Sumant Sinha, Chairman, Renew Group, and Prakash Raman, MD&CEO, Silox India Private Limited for selecting these projects, emphasizing their strategic importance in driving the state’s economic development, fostering innovation, and improving the employability of the local workforce.
