The following service facilities for instructors and staff at fully funded private colleges were granted by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. For the advantage of teaching and non-teaching personnel at fully-aided private colleges, the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme) offered under the Odisha Revised Pay Scale Rules, 2017 has been simplified. Rather than using the date of the 100% grant receipt, the MACP will now be calculated using the date of the first award.
Certain measures have been adopted to pursue the PhD degree in order to draw exceptional faculty members to the teaching profession in fully-aided private colleges. Faculty members will receive two advance increments in the appropriate pay grade at entry level only (limited to faculty positions) as a reward for earning additional PhD qualifications while they are employed.
It should be mentioned that 5T Chairman Karthik Pandian was made aware of the predicaments faced by the teaching and non-teaching personnel of fully aided colleges spread across the state during his district visits.
