CM Inaugurates Biju Mahavir Jaipur Foot Center In Khurda

At the ‘Biju Mahabir Jaipur Foot Centre’ in Gurjang, Khurda, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today officially opened a new location of the renowned Jaipur Foot. The state’s individuals with disabilities now have renewed optimism as a result of this. They may be self-reliant thanks to Jaipur Foot Artificial Limbs. Padma Bhushan Dr. DR. Mehta, the center’s founder, opened Jaipur Foot Center in 1975. Bhagavan Mahabir Viklang Sena Samiti is its name. It is now well-known both domestically and internationally as the Jaipur foot center. In the field of giving disabled people prosthetic limbs, it is now regarded as one of the top organizations in the world.

It has been crucial in helping 21 lakh disabled persons receive prosthetic limbs globally. Speaking to the crowd on this occasion, the Chief Minister stated that the intention is to quickly supply artificial limbs to all of Odisha’s crippled residents with the aid of this new institution.
