The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department informed that as many as 4829 Covid-19 positive cases including 933 from Khordha have been detected in the last 24 hours and the total cases include 448 in the 0-18 years age group have been found. Due to which Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to hold a review meeting on Monday to assess the current Covid situation.
According to official reports, the review meeting will be attended by the Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner, the Health Secretary, and senior officials from the Department of Health.
The Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department further informed that among the 4829 positives, 2823 are quarantine cases and 2006 are local contacts and there is a total of 20, 560 active cases. The total cases include 448 in the 0-18 years age group have been found.
