Today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the Aditya Alumina Refinery (HINDALCO) and the Apparel Unit, which will be established by the Utkal Alumina Social Welfare Foundation, was presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. In the Rayagada district, the apparel complex will be located in Phulujuba village, while the alumina refinery is planned for Kansariguda.
Participating in the virtual platform bhumi pujan for both projects, the Chief Minister expressed that this represents not only an industrial achievement but also the unrealized potential of our state’s natural resources. According to him, the project marks the start of a new era in the industrial landscape of our state.
He claimed that with this, Odisha has once again shown why it is a desirable location for manufacturing investment. Aditya Birla Group was thanked by the chief minister for selecting Rayagada District for their industrial endeavors.
