Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is the richest in terms of owning movable and immovable properties among the Odisha Ministers, according to the Property List of Odisha Ministers for 2021 published yesterday.
According to the list, the Chief Minister owned assets worth Rs 64.87 crore by December 31, 2021. He has mentioned in the list that he has sold out his Faridabad farm house and he has procured RBI bonds of Rs 9crore, postal savings of Rs 1 crore and term deposits of about Rs 1.11 crore.
The list also shows that Naven has gold ornaments worth Rs 3.45 lakh and owns an old Ambassador Car worth Rs 6,434 at current value.
He has deposits of Rs 72 lakh in a bank account of a bank located at Janpath, New Delhi and Rs 21.71 lakh in his account in the State Bank of India at Bhubaneswar.
The Chief Minister had properties worth Rs 48 crore in 2015. Similarly, he had shown properties worth Rs 63 crore in the 2019 list. Now, the cost of his properties stands at Rs 64.87 crore, the highest among all members of the Council of Ministers of Odisha.
