Covid-19 In Odisha reported 4,241 new with the single-day exposure with the cumulative case to 1 67,161. The death toll has now reached 669, with 13 more patients succumbed to death due to Coronavirus within the last 24 hours.
The active cases count stands at 36,580 and around 1,29,859 cases are of infected persons recovered from the COVID-19 virus.
Of the new cases reported from across 30 districts, 2,502 were detected from various quarantine centres, while 1,739 are local contact cases.
According to the Health and Family Welfare department, Khordha and Puri reported four deaths each followed by Gajapati two and one death each in Balasore, Cuttack and Subarnapur.
According to the Information and Public Relations Department Khordha the highest 647 COVID-19 cases followed by Cuttack -389, Puri -287, Puri -291, Sundargarh -194 and Jajpur- 150.
