Odisha reported Covid-19 3,443 new with the single-day exposure with the cumulative case to 2,19,119. The death toll has now reached 842, with 16 more patients succumbed to death due to Coronavirus within the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases reported from across 30 districts, 1,426 were detected from various quarantine centres, while 2,017 are local contact cases.
Around 1, 73,571 people have recovered from COVID-19 while 38,172 are active cases.

According to the Health and Family Welfare department Khordha district reported 100 positive cases followed by Cuttack -359, Angul- 100, Bargarh- 111, Mayurbhanj- 141, Sambalpur – 131, Kendrapada- 101, and Balangir- 114.
As per the State Health Department, the deaths of nine patients :
1. A 52-year old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Diabetes died.
2. A 56-year old male of Bhadrak district who was also suffering from Diabetes.
3. A 60-year old male of Bhubaneswar.
4. A 56-year old female of Bhubaneswar
5. A 79-year old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
6. A 72-year old male of Ganjam district.
7. A 70-year old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
8. A 47-year old male of Kandhamal district.
9. A 45-year old male of Khordha district who was also suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
