Odisha reported 3,543 new with the single-day exposure tally to 1, 20,221. The death toll has now reached 538 with 7 more patients succumbed to death due to Coronavirus within the last 24 hour. Of the fresh cases reported from across 30 districts, 2,161 were detected from various quarantine centres while 1,382 are local contact cases.
Khordha reported two deaths, while Bolangir, Cuttack, Ganjam, Malkangiri and Sundergarh reported one death each. According to the data, Khordha reported the highest 878 cases followed by Mayurbhanj- 326,Cuttack – 295, Bargarh -274, Balasore -153 and Ganjam 102.
Now Deograh is in the green zone, and Nuapada, Boudh, and Gajapati are in the yellow area while the rest 26 districts are in the red zone. The recoveries crossed 90,000-mark after 2,980 patients were discharged.
