Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg examined the department’s spending plan at a meeting today at the Water Resources Department, emphasizing project execution and budget use. She emphasized the need of accelerating the implementation of current projects, speeding up the tender process, and approving pending projects early.
Garg further instructed Water Incharges and Sub-Inspectors to make frequent field visits and keep a close eye on project development. Kanupur, Brutanga, Onga, and Bhimakunda are among the priority projects that will be routinely assessed to guarantee timely completion. As instructed by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, this study is a component of the state’s attempts to improve administrative effectiveness and successfully execute the 2025–2026 budget.
