Design Of Odia Language University At Satyabadi Approved By CM Patnaik

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the design of Odia Language University to be placed at the famous Vana Vidyalaya at Satyabadi in Puri district.

As per the report, the design was approved with a presentation by the Works Department of the Odisha Government.  According to the official release, the establishment of the University is assumed to intensify the development of the Vana Vidyalaya founded by Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Dash.

The new university’s design has been styled in the pattern of Satyabadi Vana Vidyalaya. The purpose is to remit a superior academic experience in a peaceful, serene, and open environment. The University will have facilities for the students to research the Odia language, literature, and culture.

For the construction of the University, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be concluded at a meeting which is to be chaired by Chief Secretary. The meeting was organized by Secretary to CM(5T) V K Pandian. Satyabadi MLA Umakanta Samantaray, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Development Commissioner P K Jena, and Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments were present in the meeting.

Several eminent persons of Odisha had studied here and the school became famous under the guidance of  ‘panchasakha’-Gopabandhu Das, Krupasindhu Mishra, Harihar Das, Pandit Nilakantha Das, and Pandit Godavarish Mishra as an institution of patriotism, service, knowledge, and nationalism.
