In eastern India, Bhubaneswar has emerged as a major city in the field of medical research and education. Therefore, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has proposed to give Bhubaneswar a place in the midst of the announcement to set up National Virus Science Institutions in four places in the country.
The Pune-based National Institute of Virology played an important role in the fight against the Corona epidemic. So the human fight against the virus will be more widespread in the coming days. That’s why more and more research is needed on the virus. Parliament has announced the establishment of a National Institute of Virus Science in an additional four locations across the country.
Bhubaneswar has the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the Institute of Biological Sciences (ILS), the ICMR-Regional Medical Research Center and the International Center for Foot and Mouth Disease (ICAR-ICFMD). Therefore, Dharmendra, who has the capacity to set up the National Institute of Virology in Bhubaneswar, said in a letter that due to its geographical location, there are talented human resources here. In addition, Dharmendra said in a letter that the organization could be part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pre-emptive mission plan.
