Dhenkanal Conscious Citizen forum celebrated Pakhala Divas on Monday at Kalyan Mandap Dhenkanal under the chairmanship of the president of the forum Shri Surendra Mishra. Additional Collector Shri Udayanath Mohapatra joined the event as Chief Guest and Executive Officer of Dhenkanal Municipality Shri Tarun Mohapatra joined as Guest of honour. On this occasion of Pakhala Divas the guests present, members, officials of the forum and members of different branches of the forum had Dahi Pakhala along with saag bhaja, badi chura, aloo bharta, mango chutney, cucumber and lemon. 
President of Chamber of Commerce, Dhenkanal Shri Rajendra Hindocha, Former Minister and advisor of the Forum Shri Naveen Chandra Narayan Das, former President of Odisha State Co-operative Bank Ltd. Shri Akshaya Kumar Mohanty, Working President of Women branch Mrs. Smitarani Samal, Shri Pankaj Nayak were present in the stage as guests. Members and officials of different branches of the forum were present in the event. The event was coordinated and Stage management was done by Secretary of the forum Shri Bharat Kumar Das and working President Shri Biswanath Behera. The vote of thanks was delivered by vice-president of the forum Shri Deepak Pattanaik.
