Dhenkanal : While the Summer season is going on and the rise in temperature in Dhenkanal town, the Municipality has set-up around eighteen Jala Chatras ( temporary roadside drinking water kiosks) across several places of the town. The jala chatras set-up the civic body will provide free drinking water stored in earthen pots to people to quench their thirst.
Dhenkanal Municipality Executive Officer Tarun Kumar Mohaptra said, ” This year around Sixteen Jala Chatras has been set-up at different areas, chowks and bazaars of the town by the Municipality. ”
Abhilash Sahoo, a local said, ” This is really a good initiative by the Dhenkanal Municipality. In my locality also the Municipality has set-up a Jala chatra and this is really a appreciable job done by them.”
