The annual bathing ceremony or snana yatra of lord Balaram and his siblings held inside the Balaram Jew temple today in Dhenkanal. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, devotees were barred to enter the temple premises for the darshan.
Only the sevayats and other relevant person associated with the rituals were allowed inside the temple to perform the rituals. The idols of lord balaram, lord Krishna, devi Subhadra and lord Jagannath were brought from their seat to the snana mandap, where the bathing ceremony took place, after which the lord’s were adorned with different ornaments and sandalwood paste.
