After hundreds of people were hospitalized due to an unexplained or mystery illness in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh, recently Indian authorities have found traces of lead and nickel particles in blood samples.
After the death of a person, New Delhi’s premier All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), along with other teams of doctors, are investigating the matter. Even if more than 400 have been hospitalization in the past few days.
Andhra Pradesh’s state government stated that the AIIMS team had found traces of lead and nickel in their samples, while a second hospital is also running similar tests. As per the report, more than 300 children have been infected due to this illness and suffering from dizziness, fainting spells, headaches, and vomiting. They have even been tested negative for COVID-19.

GVL Narasimha Rao Federal lawmaker stated on Twitter that he had spoken with government medical experts and that the most likely cause is poisonous organochlorine substances.
According to the U.S. health authorities, they said that exposure to organochlorine pesticides over a short period might produce convulsions, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, tremors, confusion, muscle weakness, slurred speech, salivation, and sweating.
