DRDO and Dr. Reddy’s Anti COVID drug 2-DG will release today

The corona drug-2DG made by DRDO will arrive on Monday. At 10.30 am, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Health Minister Harshavardhan will launch the first batch of the anti-Covid drugs. The drug was developed jointly by DRDO’s Institute of Nuclear and Allied Sciences and Dr. Reddy Lab in Hyderabad.

The drug is available in powder form and can be mixed with water. According to DRDO, the RTPCR test for some of the corona patients who were given the drug for trial has been negative in recent days. It has been claimed to be quite effective for corona patients.

The first batch of 10,000 doses will hit the market. The drug can be used in patients of COVID 19 with mild to moderate symptoms. The “molecular” nature of the drug will help cure covid patients and reduce their oxygen dependence. The drug has been developed in collaboration with DRDO and Dr. Reddy Laboratory in Hyderabad. The results of the clinical trial show that this anti-Covid drug helps the hospitalized patients to recover quickly. And the biggest thing is there is no side effect.
