Prior to the official start of the “Subhadra Yojana,” the state of Odisha’s premier program for women, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who also oversees the department of women and child development, revealed a special website on Monday with details on the program. All of the information regarding the flagship programme will be available on the portal, www.subhadra.odisha.gov.in.
Parida assured me that the data on the website is real and legitimate. She claimed that the portal contains comprehensive information on all topics, including qualifying requirements and the application procedure. She also mentioned that candidates can use it to file complaints. According to the Deputy Chief Minister, ladies can sign up for the program for free starting on September 4. The five-year plan will run from the 2024–2025 fiscal year to the 2028–2029 fiscal year.
The recipients will receive Rs 10,000 in their bank accounts in two installments per year under the program, for which the State government has allocated Rs 55,825 crore. On September 17, the day of its official debut and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, beneficiaries will receive their first tranche.
