Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment and Energy, presided over a review meeting on the Simplified Application For Agricultural Loans (SAFAL) project today at Krushi Bhavan. In order to maximize the benefits of agricultural loans, the Deputy CM underlined the necessity of increasing farmer involvement in SAFAL within a time-bound framework.
Singh Deo emphasized how crucial this project is to empowering farmers and bolstering Odisha’s agriculture industry. The conference was attended by senior authorities, such as Rajesh Pravakar Patil, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Cooperation Department, and Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, Principal Secretary of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment. They offered insightful recommendations to guarantee the SAFAL program’s success and increase its efficacy.
