East Coast Railway Bags Two Prestigious Efficiency Awards

Along with other zonal railways, the East Coast Railway was bestowed with two highly esteemed efficiency awards, specifically the Efficiency Shields in the Commercial and Security segments. At a function held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw presented the Efficiency Shield for Security to ECoR General Manager Manoj Sharma, Principal Chief Commercial Manager V. R. Lenin, and Sharma, along with Principal Chief Security Commissioner Alok Bohra, for Commercial.

On the occasion of the 68th Railway Week, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw awarded top-performing railway personnel for encouraging best practises among railway workers on Friday. Central Function Shields were given to Zonal Railways/PSUs for top performance in a specific field.

The Minister of State for Railways, Coal & Mines, Raosaheb Patil Danve and Minister of State for Railways & Textile Darshana Jardosh, Chairman & CEO and Members of Railway Board, General Managers of all Zonal Railways and heads of Production Units of Railways and PSUs of Railways also graced the occasion.

Apart from this, ECoR has also received one individual award. Divisional Operations Manager of Khurda Road Railway Division Randhi Manoj Babu received “Ati Vishist Rail Seva Puraskar” from the Minister for his dedication to the service in freight loading revenue generation and attracting new stakeholders for transportation of new commodities.
