A count of 41 lakh farmers in Odisha will receive KALIA assistance in Nuakhai on September 1, according to the Odisha State government.
A total of Rs 869 billion will be distributed among the farmers under the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation (KALIA) Scheme. Each to receive Rs 2000 under KALIA scheme on Nuakhai this year.
By implementing the KALIA Yojana, the state government intends to provide farmers with a comprehensive and flexible support system that accelerates agricultural prosperity. At the heart of progressive programs like KALIA is the motivation to provide state farmers with financing opportunities that enable the growth and development of agriculture in Odisha. Improving access to appropriate financial services will further ensure agricultural productivity and increase the incomes of farmers, especially small and subsistence farmers.
