Dhenkanal – Under the Amrit Internship Program, a Farmers Meet was organized on April 5 at the IPL Dhenkanal Sugar Unit. The event was attended by Unit General Manager Mr. Durga Prasad Dwivedi, Unit Head Mr. Santosh Das, Cane Head Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh, Rise Foundation’s Project Director, several farmers and interns.

The primary objective of the meet was to provide farmers with vital information on timely sowing, the proper use of Trichoderma, scheduled irrigation, and the responsible application of chemical inputs. Additionally, farmers were educated on the benefits and techniques of multi-cropping practices.
This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to empower farmers with knowledge and sustainable agricultural practices to enhance productivity and improve livelihoods.
