In a significant move that is poised to shape the trajectory of the Indian fertilizer industry, Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty has officially taken the reins as the Managing Director (MD) of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) on December 29, 2023. This key appointment follows his prior role as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), where he held an additional charge as HURL’s MD since March 2023.

Dr. Mohanty, a seasoned leader in the fertilizer sector, brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously served as CMD of HIL (India) Limited. Armed with an MBA from Berhampur University, he has further honed his skills through executive development programs at esteemed institutions like IIM Lucknow and Kolkata.
