Two women officer posted in Frontline Warships Of Indian Navy

In a first the entire existence of the Indian Navy, two ladies officials have been chosen to join as ‘observer’ or airborne strategists in the helicopter stream.

Sub Lt Kumudini Tyagi and Sub Lt Riti Singh will be the principal ladies airborne soldiers in the Indian Navy who will work helicopters installed warships.

They will be the primary ladies officials who will be conveyed on Navy warships as a major aspect of the boat’s group. The section of ladies was before confined to fixed-wing airplane that took off and landed aground.

Sub Lieutenant Kumudini Tyagi and Sub Lieutenant Riti Singh are an aspect of a group of 17 officials of the Indian Navy, including four ladies officials and three officials of the Indian Coast Guard, who dropped of Indian Navy’s Observer Course at INS Garuda, Kochi on Monday.

The service was directed by Rear Admiral Antony George NM, VSM, Chief Staff Officer who introduced the honors and pined for wings to the graduating officials.

Talking on the event, Rear Admiral Antony George complimented the graduating officials and said it was a milestone event wherein just because ladies will be prepared in helicopter activities which would eventually clear path for the organization of ladies on frontline warships of Indian Navy.
