Dhenkanal: Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, Science & Technology Minister of Odisha Government Shri Krushna Chandra Patra, inaugurated a Forest Park in Charkhola Reserve Forest in the Dhenkanal Range under the Dhenkanal Forest Division on Sunday. Dhenkanal Municipality Chairperson, Smt. Jayanti Patra, attended the inaugural event as guest, Divisional Forest Officer Shri Sumit Kumar Kar was also present in the program.
To attract butterflies and birds in the park, flowering plants and more than ninety types of medicinal plants are planted in the butterfly garden, informed ACF Shri Satyanarayan Sahoo.
IFS probationer Udayan Subudhi, local Councillor, forest department staff, media representatives, and other dignitaries attended the event.
