IAS officer Vijay Amruta Kulange has rejoined Orissa State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Ltd (OMFED) as Managing Director after taking a month-long sabbatical.
“The post of Managing Director, OMFED, Bhubaneswar, is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the state,” stated an official notification released on March 16.
Kulange, a 2013 batch officer and former employee of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), had been absent from work since February 24.He was succeeded as BMC commissioner by Rajesh Pravakar Patil, the Cooperation Secretary.
