Today, four years after being ousted from the Congress party for “anti-party activities,” former Union Minister Srikant Jena returned to the organization. At the AICC headquarters in New Delhi, he made his comeback to the party in the company of Ajoy Kumar, the Congressman from Odisha, and other prominent figures.
He was welcomed to the party by Ajoy Kumar. In addition to leading the Congress party, Sankarant Jena is a significant political and social figure in Odisha. His departure from the party caused a great deal of issues in Odisha as well as the Balasore constituency. After settling all the issues, he consented to rejoin the group. He has my gratitude, Ajoy Kumar stated.
Jena also said that she was happy to return to the celebration.
“There were certain miscommunications that occurred between AICC and me. I had a lengthy conversation with Ajoy Ji and met Congress chief Venugopal Ji. The miscommunications have been resolved. Despite being outside of the party, I have been employed by the Congress. “I’m happy to be back,” Jena remarked.
“There are challenges for the party in Odisha as both BJD and BJP are joining hands ahead of the elections. Congress and INDIA bloc will defeat them as their real face has been exposed,” he said.
In 2019, Jena was expelled from the Congress for alleged anti-party activities. Jena was a former Union Minister in the previous UPA government.
