Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for making larger-than-life movies. Not only do his flicks have great stories and directions but they are blessed with some great and aesthetic visual appearances. His last movie Padmaavat, even after a few controversies released on the big screen and was a great critical and commercial hit. Now this February, his much-awaited movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt in lead is going to release in theatres after a much-prolonged delay.

It has been reported that Gangubai Kathiawadi’, starring Alia Bhatt, is set to have its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival next year. Regarded as one of the world’s largest public film festivals and an indispensable forum for the global film community, the film gala will be held from February 10 to February 20, 2022.
“The films selected in Berlinale Special pay tribute to exceptional human beings and to the harsh, yet always surprising world we are living in,” they said in a statement on Berlinale’s official website.
