Its a proud day for Odisha and Odia people. Odia officer Girsih Pradhan has been awarded with Union Home Minister’s Medal. He has been awarded due to this excellence in investigation processes. He was awarded by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju in the presence of CBI Director.
This Award is presented under Ministry of Home Affairs and given to selected officers across the Country. Pradhan, posted as Inspector at CBI Office in Bhubaneswar was also awarded same medal for the Year 2018. He has handled many important cases
Pradhan hails from Bargarh District and has done his schooling from Town High School, Bargarh, Intermediate from Gangadhar Meher College and Graduation from Panchayat College, Bargarh. This award is given by Ministry to all Central Investigating Agencies, State/UT Police for excellence in investigations. The Award encourages professionalism in standard of investigations and efficiency.
