On Wednesday, the Odisha state government awarded a grant of Rs 1.28 crore for 10 high-potential businesses. The program aims to foster entrepreneurship and innovation while assisting companies in a variety of industries, including agritech, food and beverage, HR-Tech, enterprise technology, retail, education, and logistics.
The funding was accepted during Startup Odisha’s second board meeting, which is a project supported by the MSME department’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) division. Startup Odisha’s executive chairman Omkar Rai chairs the board, which chose entrepreneurs for need-based and product development and marketing help.
The firms chosen for the money include Foliyoo Technologies, a logistic solutions provider located in Bhubaneswar, EME Technologies, a delivery app for food and grocery from Bargarh, and Axonotics, a Cuttack-based IT solutions company that aids in quick and easy document scanning.
