Government of Odisha is considering removing the traffic post’s red lights

The department of Housing and Urban Development in Odisha is considering a different method to take the red lights off the traffic posts in different urban regions. On Tuesday, Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra stated that the government is making plans to ensure that citizens do not have to wait for hours at traffic lights.

“Other configurations, such as approach roads and over-bridges, can be built to get around traffic post red lights. The minister continued, “It will facilitate passengers’ easy communication at traffic intersections without any obstacles.

He continued by saying that a plan will be created following discussions with experts and senior department personnel.

“People always want to get where they’re going as soon as possible, without any problems. For the general public, we shall give priority on easy and convenient vehicular communication. The Minister stated, “We intend to build over bridges and approach roads as alternatives to the current strategy of removing red lights from traffic posts.
