In two or four days, the result from the GPR survey that was done inside and outside of Ratna Bhandar to evaluate its structural stability would most likely be released. Prithiviraj Harichandan, the law minister for Odisha, announced on Sunday that the Archaeological study of India’s specialists will make their study results public in the next two to four days. The group, under the direction of Justice Biswanath Rath, scanned the walls of Ratna Bhandar of the Shree Jagannath Temple using state-of-the-art machinery.
Harichandan said that when the report is received, the state government will decide on its next move. The government will take appropriate action if the report reveals the existence of gold, silver, or hidden valuables. If not, the ASI will start working on the repairs right away.
“The counting of ornaments will only happen after the treasure boxes are returned to Ratna Bhandar following the completion of repair work,” Harichandan added.
