Gurudevji Gurukul, the sports unit of Gurudevji Foundation organized a hill climbing program on Monday morning at Kuntunia hill, in the ward number seven, near Danda Sahi, Dhenkanal where Climbing Skills were taught to the participating Students. Master Engineer Soumyabrata Sahoo, the Chairman of Gurudevji Foundation and Gurudevji Gurukul, also an assistant yoga teacher taught the hill climbing skills and yoga in nature’s lap during this program. In this one day training camp around 45 students participated from the Gurudevji Gurukul and from different schools and colleges.Master Er. Soumyabrata Sahoo said, ” Hill climbing will help enhance muscular strength, self esteem, mental agility, self awareness and self confidence. We will continue this kind of hill climbing programs in future and cover all the hills of Dhenkanal.”
Co-instructors Indrajit Sahoo and Pratap Nayak coordinated the program and Gurudevji Foundation members Devjani Kar, Vinod Verma, Pradeep Behera, Shreyas Shaktismith and Soubhagya Baral volunteered the program.
