HLCA Clears 7 Industrial Projects Worth Rs 80,125 Cr

Following the 35th High-Level Clearance Authority (HLCA) conference, seven significant industrial projects were approved, indicating that Odisha is making significant progress toward economic growth. The Odisha government, led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, has approved investments worth INR 80,125.00 crore. It is anticipated that this large investment will open up employment chances for 24,552 people across several industries. These initiatives span a number of industries, including chemicals, steel, renewable energy, and medicines. These projects, which are well situated in Ganjam, Bhadrak, Jharsuguda, Jagatsinghpur, and Khurda, would improve Odisha’s manufacturing capacity and advance the state’s economic growth.

A prominent Indian manufacturer of paracetamol, Granules Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, is establishing a pharmaceutical business at the Tata SEZ in Gopalpur, Ganjam. 4 billion units of metformin, ibuprofen, paracetamol, and other pharmaceutical goods will be produced by the company. Granules plans to invest Rs. 1,100 Cr in this Ganjam factory, creating jobs for 1,480 people.

Granules In addition, CZRO Private Limited plans to establish a green specialty chemical plant to produce pharmaceutical items such as DCDA, DMA HCL, and Para Amino Phenol. With a 2,000 Cr investment, this plant will be built at the Tata SEZ in Gopalpur, Ganjam, and it will employ 1000 people. An integrated manufacturing factory for solar photovoltaics will be established by ACME Greentech Urja Private Limited using silica. An investment of Rs. 36,000 crores is anticipated for this green energy complex, which will also generate employment possibilities for 6,272 people. Ten gigawatts of solar panels will be produced by this Khurda facility.
