As you read this, I can take a wager that many of you may not have even heard of Arjun Saraswat. But you certainly must have heard of and come across his mines- Sarda Mines. The Thakurani B mine lease held by Sarda Mines Pvt Ltd (SMPL).The man behind of its horizon is non other than the doyen of mining Mr.Arjun Sarswat who maintains a very low key profile despite having owned the humongous job to do.Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) is the principal sourcing ore from SMPL at run of the mine (RoM) price.
However, all credit must be rested with Mr. Saraswat by carrying all the rulebooks enacted by the Govt.agencies with all sincerity and professionalism. In his capacity as the Director and the overseer of mines, he turned things around. He pursued the cases diligently, braved the din of controversies and countered unsavory media mentions to resume transportation.
“The company was despatching the former mines materials to the buyers who were transporting the same to their respective destinations after obtaining due permission from the proper authorities as per the Integrated Mines & Minerals and Management System”, he said recently.
Along with that he is a man of spiritualism.As a core believer of KARMA he has always valued the humanitarian cause.Beyond the Govt and its local administration he is well connected to the concerned citizens of the mining operated peripherals.Mr. Saraswat is a great practiciners of Bhagbhat Gita and Mahabarat at his leisure time.And he preachers it for the goodness of the Society.
