Taking cues from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s exemplary leadership to provide surplus oxygen to states, IFFCO has decided to ramp up it’s oxygen production. The cooperative organization also aims to refuel oxygen cylinders for free for the hospitals in Odisha and periphery.
IFFCO has ordered it’s 4th Medical Oxygen Plant in Paradeep, Odisha that will commence from June 15.Total Oxygen production will raise to 610 Cubic Meter/hour with these 4 Oxygen plants.
During this Covid Pandemic time to fulfil the demand of medical grade oxygen in country IFFCO has taken various initiatives and now given order for its 4th Oxygen plant in Paradeep, Odisha. IFFCO will be giving Free Oxygen to hospitals in nation’s service. The capacity of this new oxygen plant is 150 Cubic Mtr/hr. The plant will Will commence by 15th June. Earlier, Both Aonla & Phulpur plants will start producing oxygen by 30th May. It’s time to together fight this pandemic & take the country out of this situation. IFFCO has always given its service for the nation building.
The transposition of these plants require some time. A dedicated separate team has been also assigned for this project in all the plants. It’s an automatic cylinder filling turnkey plant.
IFFCO’s free Oxygen plant in Paradeep will generate medical grade oxygen & fill 520 big D type cylinders daily & 200 medium B size cylinders on demand supplied to all hospitals free from 15th June.
IFFCO will fill up free of cost the oxygen cylinders for hospitals in Odisha & adjoining areas. They need to bring their own cylinders for refill. A security deposit will be taken if cylinders taken from IFFCO to avoid hoarding of oxygen.The ground work for all new oxygen plants by IFFCO is already started.
IFFCO is educating farmers and villagers at remotest level about this pandemic. Last year also, IFFCO did a countrywide campaign called #IFFCOFightsCorona & Break The Corona Chain. Distributed face masks, medical soaps, sanitisers & vitamin c tablets along with free ration wherever it was required for labourers etc.
