A webinar was organized by IIMC Dhenkanal to pay tribute to the legendary writer Shri Manoj Das on Sunday at 5:00 pm via Google Meet. The Event was chaired by Regional Director and Professor Dr. Mrinal Chatterjee. Professor S.N Mishra, Shri Samir Ranjan Das, Shri Gautam Buddha Das and Shri Ramendra Kumar attended the event as guests. Among other dignitaries, Assistant Professor of the Institute Dr. Jyoti Prakash Mohapatra and Academic Assistant Padmalochan Pradhan also attended the event.
Regional Director of the Institute, Professor Dr. Mrinal Chatterjee said, “The writings of Shri Manoj Das was loved by children to teenagers and young people to everyone. From his writings everyone could able to enjoy the juice at their own level. Such writers are rare.”
Shri SN Mishra, said “The journey of Shri Manoj Das’s from socialism to the world of spirituality has always influenced his writing. Manoj Das has set a rare example of being a beautiful writer as well as being a person of high prominence. His creation has touched people at every level.”
Assistant Professor Dr. Jyoti Prakash Mohapatra discussed about the achievements of shri Manoj Das. Academic Assistant Padmalochan Pradhan discussed the impact of Manoj Das’s writing on readers. The event was attended by many Manoj literary lovers, faculty members, staffs and students of the Institute and people from other organizations too.
