India has taken the second position in the tally of the countries adversely hit by the Covid pandemic after a record spike of 90,802 new cases over the 24 hours, taking the nation’s count to 42 lakh, the Union Health Ministry demonstrated today.

This is the second back to back day that the nation observed more than 90,000 new cases in 24 hours.

India has been observing the highest number of routine based infection data in Covid cases for about a month, as indicated by the World Health Organization information.

About 32.5 lakh Covid patients in the nation have recouped so far;over 69,000 recuperations were recorded over last 24 hours.

71,642 deaths have been reported which is related to Covid since the start of the pandemic; 1,016 deaths have been reported yesterday.

Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are the five most terribly affected states in the country. These five states recorded the highest number of new cases over 24 hours.
