Passengers now have more convenience as the Veer Surendra Sai airport here now operates in two shifts. The airport will now be open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:35 am to 10:10 pm. The airport will be open from 7:35 am to 6:30 pm on Wednesday and from 12:45 pm to 9:45 pm on Sunday and Monday.
It is anticipated that the roughly 1,000 people that use the airport each day would gain from this improvement. With flights to a number of locations, like as New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Raipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar, travelers will have greater freedom thanks to the extended operating hours. The airport officials intend to further modify flight schedules, including converting the Delhi route to an early morning trip, according to Director Sandeep Tiwari. It is anticipated that this action would improve passengers’ overall travel experiences and increase accessibility and convenience for individuals with early morning obligations.
This adjustment will make travel more comfortable and economical by eliminating the need for travelers to pay extra for hotel stays prior to their flights.
