Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has been at the forefront of pioneering research and advanced medicine, has successfully ranked the 16th best private medical institution in India.
In the latest poll conducted by the Week Magazine in collaboration with Hansa Research also ranked KIMS, a component of KIIT Deemed-to-be-University, as the best medical institution in the State.
This ranking reiterates KIMS’ focus on providing quality care and treatment to its patients and its relentless pursuit of research activities.
In July, the Ministry of Education’s NIRF ranked KIMS his 30th best medical institution in the country. In April, the Outlook Health Best Hospital Ranking 2022, published by Outlook magazine and NEB Research, ranked 5th overall in the Eastern Region and 2nd in Odisha among the medical colleges.
KIMS was inaugurated in 2007 as the first Medical college under KIIT. It was the dream and vision of the founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta to provide quality healthcare and services to people from all sectors. Today KIMS is recognized as one of the largest healthcare service provider in the Eastern India.
