LED Streetlight System On Cuttack-Puri Bypass Road

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik dedicated LED streetlight system on Cuttack and Puri Bypass Road which will help to reduce the cost of electricity and ensure safety for the public.

As per the report, the lighting system has been started over 12 Kilometre stretch from Palasuni Chowk to Lingipur Chowk on the Bypass Road. Chief Minister also stated that the LED streetlight system will reduce the cost of electricity and ensure safety for the public. This lighting system will also ensure safety for drivers and pedestrians. Even the LED lighting system will reduce the road accidents caused due to the headlights of the car and also due to lack of lights near the highway.

The report further stated that Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has installed 774 LED lights in 387 poles, 3 high-mast lights in Lingipur, Keshura & Pandra.

While Odisha Tourism has contributed ₹2.85 Cr on the lighting project, an additional ₹6.7 Cr will be invested considerably in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area and more than 40,000 lights have already been installed in several parts in Bhubaneswar and the project work has already begun.
