The state of Odisha is going under intense heat wave. Several parts of the state are recording temperatures of 40 degree celsius, including state capital Bhubaneshwar and Cuttack. However, there might be some relief for the state. As per the IMD reports, a low pressure is likely to form in Bay of Bengal.
The low pressure will form over southeast Bay of Bengal on April 7. The Met Department said on April 6, an upper air cyclonic circulation is likely to form over South Andaman Sea & neighbourhood. “Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Southeast Bay of Bengal during subsequent 24 hours (April 7),” the IMD stated.
if the depression turns into rainfall, it will bring relief to the state of Odisha. However, if its turns cyclonic there might yet another natural disaster the state might witness.
