At a government function in Khordha, Luminous Power Technologies recognized Odisha as a high-potential center for solar production, innovation in renewable energy, and industrial expansion. Luminous emphasized its expanding industrial presence in eastern India and displayed its energy solutions. It gave special attention to its planned factories in Gopalpur and Angul, Odisha, which are supported by favorable state policies. Infrastructure is anticipated to be further strengthened as a result, and Odisha is crucial to Luminous’ long-term growth and manufacturing plan with a greater emphasis on the use of clean energy.
It now seems that Luminous has decided to locate its integrated solar manufacturing facility in Odisha. Luminous has made investments in two significant production sites in Odisha within the last few years. To improve the local solar value chain, the business is building a solar cell manufacturing facility in Gopalpur. Thus, combining businesses that already produce solar cells and solar modules, such as Tata Power Group. The planned plant will produce solar cells, wafers, and ingots.
Luminous demonstrated its complete solar solutions, including technology made to satisfy the demands of commercial, industrial, and residential clients, at Khordha in Odisha. On-grid, off-grid, and hybrid systems that are suited to various energy needs across industries are among the company’s extensive array of solutions. Long-lasting batteries, high-performance inverters, TOPCon bifacial solar panels, and the clever Connect X monitoring software are all part of the product selection. The exhibit emphasizes the company’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and dependability.
Vivek Abrol, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Managing Director (MD), Luminous Power Technologies, said, “Odisha represents a strategically important market for Luminous—not only as a manufacturing base but also as a gateway to India’s expanding clean energy ecosystem. With strong policy support and growing investments, the state is playing an increasingly prominent role in India’s industrial and energy landscape.”
