Mallikarjun Kharge visited the Samta Sthal and the Shakti Sthal in addition to paying respects to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rajghat before assuming his formal role as the president of the Congress on Wednesday. At the AICC headquarters, Kharge will take over at 10.30 a.m. According to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, “around 1400 Indian artists would perform and 100 from outside” at the occasion.
Along with Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi will attend. K.C.
