Engineering and Infrastructure company (MEIL) on Friday stated that it had occupied the lowest bidder in constructing the Zojila Pass tunnel in the Jammu Kashmir-Ladakh region, quoting 4,509 crores.

The first set of execution will consist of constructing the 18.5-km road, whereas, in the second section, the Zojila tunnel will be built in the shape of a horseshoe of 14.15 km as a two-road lane.
